Doctor deeply affected by the Typhoon Haiyan
Here is an excerpt from a story about a medical doctor, Dr. Glo, who is working with GAiN's relief efforts:
“She flew in to Manila this afternoon to seek treatment because she became sick. Terribly traumatized too. She is now confined. She related how they took refuge in a men's room during the typhoon then got shocked by dead bodies lying on the floor when they got out. She said all infrastructures are now gone. No available vehicles to use. There are dead bodies all over and she is tasked to take specimen for their identification. Survivors are crippled and don't know what to do. People are in utter shock.”
