15 yr-old Takes A Step Towards Her Dream
15 yr-old Grace arranged a garage sale and raised $200 for GAiN. For a long time she had been planning on doing a fundraiser for children in developing countries and while she was researching for organizations, she came across GAiN. "It was exactly the kind of organization I wanted to donate to," shares Grace.
As soon as she made that decision, she talked with some others and organized a garage sale. "We stood on the sidewalk and waved signs and shouted to pedestrians to come and in the end we raised $200," shares Grace. "It may not be a lot of money but we put all our hearts into it and hope that this money will be able to be of some use."
Her dream has been to be a doctor in a developing country and help orphans and children there. This was her first step in helping them before actually meeting them.
We were thankful for her partnership...she definitely helped make a difference!
