Tanzania Vision Trip (June 2018)
In Africa there is a saying, “water is life.” And yet, many villages in Africa lack access to the most basic necessity for safe drinking water.
This leaves millions forced to drink disease-filled water drawn from sloughs and swamps.
Young girls are forced to walk miles to find a water source, making it unable for them to attend school.
GAiN is helping to break the cycle of disease and death that devastates much of the developing world through the provision deep-capped water wells.
As access to clean water is made possible, doors are opened to serve the needs of the community in many ways.
On this vision trip to Tanzania, you’ll travel to the villages near Mtwara via the capital of Dar es Salaam. In Mtwara, you’ll have the unique opportunity to see first-hand the tremendous impact that clean water is having on communities and how the simple gift is changing many lives physically, emotionally and spiritually.
You’ll meet our dedicated in-country staff and visit local villagers and hear their transformational stories. This experience will broaden your understanding of the need in Africa and you’ll never look at a glass of clean water in the same way again!
